What is Bubble Football?

Bubble Football is when you get inside large inflatable balls that you slide into so they fit above your knees and over your head and you play the traditional game of football. You can then crash and bump into other players as you try and score that all-important goal for your team.

Is it fun?

Bubble Football is great fun for children and adults alike and it is hugely entertaining for everyone, a great way to get active, and is challenging physical fun. Plus it is a great game for parents to play with their children - so why not give it a go?

Is it safe?

The Zorbs are made out of A1CTPU or TPU hard-wearing plastic and each has a 4 point harness. They are surprisingly resilient and have 6 intersections to add to their strength. As players only bump into other Bubble Football players, then everyone has double protection. In the unlikely advent of a puncture, the Zorbs can easily be fixed by strong holding tape until they are correctly repaired later. Our Staff are fully trained and highly experienced and they must be listened to at all times.

What to Expect at a Party

Start of the Party

The rules of Bubble Football are explained clearly to everyone by the referee before the game starts. These include being told to stay inside the designated area and not to charge into people when they have already been knocked over. Everyone must also remove any sharp objects that are in their pockets.

The Games

We start by getting everyone used to the Zorbs, which means running around bumping and crashing into people. This is great fun in itself. We rotate players on and off, it is quite physical and you'll be happy with a breather. Depending on the number of players and the length of time for the party, we put everyone into teams and start playing the games.

What should I wear?

Loose clothing and long trousers are the best. Comfortable flat shoes or trainers. Avoid having any valuables on you such as jewelry. You'll also need to remove any sharp objects from your pockets. Bubble Football can be played outdoors on grass, indoors in a sports hall, or on AstroTurf pitches.

Do I need to bring anything?

Bubble Football is a very energetic activity, so you may want to bring drinks in plastic bottles to keep you hydrated. Depending on the weather, for outdoor events, you may want to bring suncream.

Bubble Football Rules

• Minimum height of 1 metre
• Remove everything from your pockets
• Make sure the harness is comfortable
• Hold the handles
• Stay in the designated area
• Always be alert and ready to fall
• Always be ready to brace for impact
• You can crash into each other and roll around - Only crash into people if they are standing up and are aware you are there (so they can brace for impact)
• Do not hit anyone until they are fully upright and ready

• Not suitable for anyone suffering from high blood pressure, any heart condition, or epilepsy
• You must not play Bubble Football if you are pregnant, under the influence of alcohol or drugs, have any back or neck problems, or have had an operation within the past twelve months
• You must not play Bubble Football if you are undergoing any medical treatment or have any other condition that may be affected by participating in such an activity
• You must obey all of the operator's instructions

Bubble Football can be played both indoors and outdoors. If you don't have a venue to host a game of Bubble Football please let us know and we will organize a venue for you. The cost of hiring the venue will vary from venue to venue.
